The competition is one of the events of the HK SciFest 2016. HK SciFest is an annual programme organised by the Hong Kong Science Museum since 2014, aiming to collaborate with science institutes and organisations to provide a variety of activities to elevate the public's recognition and interest in science and technology.
The theme of this contest is the fascinating night sky of Hong Kong. There are "Secondary Schools" Division and "Open Category" Division. Winners have the opportunity to get fabulous prizes.
